ABSTRACT
To compare the efficacy between two different silicone hydrogel bandage contact lenses after transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy (T-PRK).In this randomized controlled trial, a total of 89 patients (178 eyes) who underwent T-PRK at Qingdao Eye Hospital from October to December 2019 were selected. One random eye wore Senofilcon A lens surgery, and other Balafilcon lens. Pain scores, uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA), spherical equivalent (SE), corneal epithelial healing status, thickness, deposits, movement, ocular surface conditions measured compared. There no differences groups in UCVA, SE, tear river heights film rupture time each follow-up visit. However, postoperative pain scores group significantly lower than those (Fintergroups=67.833, P<0.001; Ftime=383.773, Finteraction=57.344, P<0.001). The duration eyes was shorter that (t=-3.326, P=0.001). deposition movement on first fourth days surgery (Z=-5.385, -6.782, Z=-8.336, -8.906, P<0.001).Both have good T-PRK. are associated with less more comfort compared A.
