ABSTRACT
To compare the changes in objective visual quality of patients with low and moderate myopia postoperatively after transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy using smart pulse technology (SMART) femtosecond laser situ keratomileusis (FS-LASIK).Corneal higher-order aberrations (HOAs), horizontal coma, vertical coma spherical aberration were measured Pentacam, cutoff for modulation transfer function (MTF cutoff), scatter index (OSI) Strehl ratio (SR) was an optical analysis system (OQAS-II), before operation at 1, 3, 6mo, data analyzed by repeated measurement two-way variance. The difference uncorrected distance acuity between SMART FS-LASIK statistically significant only 1wk postoperatively. Approximately 86.36% 80.69% equivalent (SE) ±0.50 D observed groups, respectively. No SE two groups (P=0.509). The HOAs increased compared those surgery both (P<0.05). HOA, corneal aberration, ΔHOA, Δhorizontal Δspherical group (P>0.05). Corneal Δcorneal higher than OSI 1mo that At 3 6mo postoperatively, slightly (P=0.040 0.047, respectively). surgery, MTF different (P=0.026). SR (P>0.05).The increase is delayed long-term better FS-LASIK.
