ABSTRACT
To investigate the myopia awareness level, knowledge, attitude, and skills at baseline to implement evaluate efficacy of prevention health education among Chinese students.A total 1000 middle school students from 2 schools were invited participate in study, was conducted. The assessed baseline, followed by a survey. evaluated using self-comparison method pre- post-health education.The study included 957 850 participants, respectively. knowledge all respondents on myopic symptoms (87.5%), is risk eyes (72.9%), (91.3%), increases with age (86.7%), performing periodic eye examinations (92.8%), one first, foot, inch (84.8%) significantly increased after (P<0.001 for all). However, percentage who still did not think it necessary take breaks 30-40min continuous near work 27.0%. opinion that "myopia can be cured" present 38.3%.Implementing school-based improves attitudes, regarding students.
