ABSTRACT
We have implemented a peer-grading system for review of student assignments over the World-Wide Web and used it in approximately eight computer science engineering courses.Students prepare their submit them to our Peer Grader (PG) form one or more pages.Other students are then assigned pages, with submitter's grade being by peer reviewers.Authors reviewers can communicate via shared page during period, where they post comments answer questions double-blind fashion.Authors notified e-mail when new submission has been posted. They update response review. We experimented variety approaches facilitating good communication, including multiple deadlines feedback per scheme that rewards helping authors improve submission. The educational experience very rewarding, several reasons: It makes cost-effective assign design problems, which time-consuming single individual review. It forces learn write clearly peers, since depends upon it.It be generate problems future homework tests, assigning make up problem involving course material. It resources course, as browse further material related each lecture. It promises scalable solution managing large courses, because work staff increases less than linearly number students.
