ABSTRACT
In the expanding landscape of open hardware and software, preservation privacy is paramount for individuals, products, systems. This study focuses on security implications pertaining to stereolithography (STL) files in 3D printing domain, within scope Internet Things (IoT).As business models increasingly rely copyrighted content fuel free services, application lightweight encryption becomes crucial safeguarding STL utilized operations. In cognizance unique needs IoT, such as reduced energy consumption, efficient computation, superior performance metrics, an adaptation pioneering Ultra-Lightweight algorithm, modified PRESENT, proposed.Modifications are made substitution box (s-box) PRESENT yielding a version that consumes less computational time power. This s-box fulfills several evaluation criteria assessing parameters, including bijective property, nonlinearity, strict avalanche criteria, suggesting substantial resistance breaches. The this customized algorithm secure IoT-linked demonstrates its efficacy protecting sensitive data, even under restrictive resources IoT environments. The findings contribute ongoing dialogue intersection accessibility age open-source software.
