ABSTRACT
SrTiO3-based photocatalysts have become widely used due to their excellent properties such as high thermal stability, photocorrosion resistance, and stable structure that can be modified by doping making composites. In this work, SrTiO3 powder was prepared from Sr(NO3)2 TiO2 precursors a simple chemical precipitation method followed calcination. It determined calcination at 900 °C treatment in nitric acid solution produced cubic particles without the presence of any impurities. addition, structural, morphology, energetic characterization using experimental theoretical aspects are presented. Within framework density functional theory, electronic been investigated Quantum ESPRESSO software package PBE under generalized gradient approximation (GGA). The band states were obtained, width bandgap determined.
