ABSTRACT
A population study is reported in which the DNA damage induced by g-radiation (2 Gy) and kinetics of subsequent repair were estimated comet micronucleus assays isolated lymphocytes 82 healthy donors patients with head neck cancer before radiotherapy. The parameters background radiation-induced damage, rate repair, residual non-repaired measured assay, for every donor computer-fitted to an exponential curve. level irradiation assay as well micronuclei significantly higher patient group than donors, while widely scattered both groups. Cancer contained more individuals, whose irradiated showed high low level. Lymphocytes belonging this subgroup lower inhibition cell cycle after irradiation.
