ABSTRACT
Character education gets a lot of attention from stakeholders and educators to be developed; hence, many models have been created develop the affective domain. This study aimed analyze relationship contribution critical thinking skills social with students’ character through application discovery models. The population this were high school students in Situbondo. research sample was chosen SMA Negeri 1 Besuki purposive sampling method. instrument measure an essay test developed Facione's rubric. Social measured using instruments adopted Skills inventory. To examine character, observation sheets six pillars element Josephson Institute. validity reliability performed before them. results calculation product-moment correlation analysis Cronbach's alpha showed that valid reliable so it could used study.
