ABSTRACT
In order to simplify and automate the microinjection process, we propose a new chip for 100-to 150-µm-size spherical cells, which integrates novel rack-pinion loader previously developed bubble injector.Microinjection has always been backbone of intracellular cargo delivery owing its reliability applications ranging from gene injection drug delivery.Unfortunately, conventional method is no longer sufficient as it requires highly skilled operators time-consuming.To solve these problems, reliable reusable rack-pinion-based combined with injector in-chip injection. Here, was tested strength, precision, loading capability, while intercellular capability. The high performance under an external magnetic field, up 42 particles per min.Furthermore, pinion can be accurately positioned within 3º produces 40 mN force deliver cells overcome friction. The entails simple procedure 80 87.5% successful rate.Overall, competitive throughput at least 6 min, including both processes.
