ABSTRACT
Background: One of the main reasons women prefer cesarean surgery is their fear pain during natural process childbirth. Neuraxial analgesia a beneficial option for decreasing However, painless childbirth still not widely accepted by parturient in developing countries compared to high-resource due cultural issues and lack knowledge. We investigated causes rejecting neuraxial admitted labor ward our hospital. Methods: A total 567 who declined were included this single center cross-sectional study conducted between 2020 2022. The refusal level knowledge evaluated using validated reliable questionnaire. Results: patients' complications, concern about insertion spinal needle, worry prolonging time following analgesia, respectively. 51 participants had high, 134 medium 381 low awareness level. Parturient attended prenatal classes as well those used internet source information significantly higher levels awareness.
