ABSTRACT
Background: Low-frequency noise as a detrimental occupational and environmental factor which can cause annoyance. In addition to noise, factors such sensitivity awareness of adverse health effects seem play an important role in causing Therefore, this study aimed investigate the association annoyance loudness perception caused by exposure low-frequency with sensitivity. Methods: To achieve goal, 80 students were exposed at 65 dBA acoustic room. After one hour exposure, subjects completed Weinstein's Noise Sensitivity Scale, Loudness Perception Annoyance Scale. Data analyzed using Mann-Whitney, Kruskal-Wallis test Multivariate Analysis variance (MANOVA). Results: The results showed that mean score was significantly higher group high Also, increasing harmful increased level individuals. MANOVA has significant effect on both response variables. only affects perception. interaction two independent variables not any .Conclusion: general, it be concluded are exacerbate noise.
