Teacher characteristics affecting clinical education in audiology

ABSTRACT
Background and Aim: Clinical education is a major component of the Audiology curriculum. teachers instructors play an impor­tant role in achieving clinical goals. This research was conducted to survey view point students, teachers, gra­duates about teachers’ characteristics affecting education. Methods: Through purposeful sampling met­hod, 14 senior undergraduate 4 BSc. Graduates, 7 participated this qualitative study. The relevant data were coll­ected via focus group discussions semi-structured interviews. obtained analyzed by conventional content analysis. Results: After analysis classification codes, two main themes some sub-themes emerged. Themes included pro­fessional experience, educational ability rigor as well perso­nality behavior, motivation compassion, discipline timeliness. They recognized influential attributes teacher study participants. Conclusion: It seems that ability, rigor, motivation, timeliness important increasing quality Therefore, choice qualified tea­cher conducting best course field Audiology.
