The most common human illness is upper respiratory tract infection. It causes a high rate of absenteeism from school and work decreases efficiency productivity individuals in daily life. People with chronic diseases such as asthma, preterm infants the elderly are more susceptible to viral infections. Preliminary studies have shown that probiotics reduce allergic asthma strengthen immune system, reducing This mini-review looks at how prebiotics affect Functional foods containing well-defined probiotic strains, milk or yogurt can risk catching cold. These strains represent an easy, healthy, reliable accessible method for preventing infections, especially developing countries.
