TTM be fatal if blood transfu- sion recipient is from vulnerable population i.e. pregnant women or young children. Therefore, present study done to estimate seroprevalence parasitemia among donors Garhwal region. Materials Methods: Study subjects were healthy who had passed screening criteria for do- nation. Donors with a history temporarily deferred 3 months following full recovery. Screening donated units parasite using immunochromatography based rapid diagnostic test. Thin smear examination performed species identification. Results: A total 1984 donations screened TTI. The HBV, HCV HIV syphilis 0.3% (n=6), 0.25% (n=5), 0% (n=0) respectively. 0.05% (n=1). Plasmodium vivax identified upon thin examination. donor reactive replacement gave no recent fever any past malaria. Conclusion: Meticulous combined tests most practical strategy prevent region India.
