ABSTRACT
Introduction: Today, with the industrialization of societies, expansion urbanization and increasing trend population growth, sustainable livelihoods are severely polluted unfortunately around world, especially in developing countries, urban air quality is declining. This study designed to determine concentration PM2.5 particles effect meteorological parameters 14 selected points metropolis Ahvaz. Materials methods: The sampling Particulate Matter less than 2.5 µm (PM2.5) was four seasons (winter, spring, summer autumn). Sampling performed using Environmental Protection Agency, method TO-13A (EPA/TO-13A) guideline. Particle samples were collected on a fiberglass filter pore size 1 diameter 37 mm. Information about also recorded by PHB-318. Finally, obtained data analyzed SPSS R. Results: results showed that Ahvaz during period times higher value guidelines World Health Organization (WHO). Also, temperature had negative relationship relative humidity pressure direct positive particle. It found Zargan, Padadshahr 1and 2, Saadi 17 Shahrivar stations most compared particles. Conclusion: Planning appropriate strategies pollution control reduce important necessary.
