ABSTRACT
This article considers the perspective of key social actors (students, teachers and university management) regarding distance education development in Russia. In modern information digital age, – based on possibility disseminating knowledge through computer technologies is being actively introduced into Russian higher system. The pace implementation increasing Russia, yet its assessment as a new form learning teaching ambiguous. There are clear advantages to this when compared with traditional face-to-face classroom instruction including: accessibility wide audience; earn degree irrespective place residence; variability time selection; relatively low tuition fees. At same time, however, many believe that quality received by students lower than via teaching, due both lack student’ readiness difficulties related pedagogical process organization management. study whether will continue develop answer question depends large extent actors. analyses their attitudes make following conclusions: 1) University management generally accept because economic advantage authorities. Students also vote favour, it allows them without giving up work, family home-related commitments. most negative given who conduct classes at can compare outcomes those instruction.
