ABSTRACT
Introduction: In this study, we assessed the effect of bright light emitted by box on fatigue, and sleepiness nurses. Methods: Forty four healthy female shift work nurses were allocated into two groups intervention control. first stage, was to in group box, not control group. next stage (one month later), (cross- over design). Main outcome measures fatigue sleepiness. We used Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and, Karolinska Sleepiness (KSS). Fatigue every hour, during 24 hours. Results: During hours assessment (VAS), trend changes opposite direction almost all time hours, mean value significantly different. addition, values KSS significant different direction. Conclusion: The exposure resulted changing directions compared controls. minimum occurred at 4 am which maximum Also, cases who exposed am.
