ABSTRACT
The objectives of this work were to determine the sample size (number plants) needed estimate mean cut and grazing sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench), Nutribem cultivar, traits investigate linear relations among traits. At 86 days after sowing, 110 plants selected at random. evaluated for each plant were: height, stem diameter, number nodes, leaves, leaf fresh matter, shoot dry matter. was determined means traits, assuming estimation errors equal 1% (higher precision), 2%, ..., 20% (lower precision) mean. Scatter plots, correlation analysis, path analysis investigated relationship Fourteen with a maximum error 10% 95% confidence level. With same precision, leaf, stem, 48 are needed. Plant height positively correlates shoots leaves has positive relation
