ABSTRACT
This paper introduces the scientometric method of main path analysis and its application in an exemplary study paths knowledge development roles contributors Wikiversity. Data from two scientific domains this online learning community has been used. We see as a step forward adapting adopting network techniques for analyzing collaboration processes building communities. The steps are presented detail including description tool environment (“workbench”) designed flexible use by non-computer experts. By identifying directed acyclic graphs, meaningful interconnections between developing resources analyzed considering their temporal sequence.
