ABSTRACT

A 48-year-old male was admitted to the emergency department because of intermittent chest pain 2 days duration. At time examination, he pain-free. An electrocardiogram (ECG) showed biphasic T waves in leads V2 V6. Troponin-I level negative. During his transfer cardiac catheterization laboratory, had a short episode pain. His ECG normal. Despite unusual extension lateral precordial leads, condition recognized as Wellens’ syndrome, which typically associates or deep symmetric wave inversion and V3 during pain-free periods with critical stenosis proximal left anterior descending artery. The syndrome is uncommon medical practice but should be immediately it represents pre-infarction stage carries high risk mortality.
