ABSTRACT
Background: Pod splitting is the main cause of low seed yield legume forage grasses. In present study, flowering pattern, maturity characteristics and optimum harvesting time Trifolium lupinaster L. were investigated to improve quality. Methods: All required observations for this study completed in new line nursery from July October 2022. Flowering habits populations, individual plants, inflorescences florets observed two consecutive months 1 September daily temperatures humidity recorded.Observations on state pod development made by sampling measuring three batches every days 25 August 23 starting 12th day after first flower continuing until season. Starting 15, constitutive factors measured 10 d 5th. Result: The results showed that period T. population lasted 60 peak opening was 11th-20th heading began, opened most vigorously at 11:00-13:00 more 15:00 day. pattern greatly affected temperature humidity. fresh weight skin seeds reached maximum 15th flowering; length width pods 18th day; water content began decrease sharply 21st day, while crack surface dried hardened; decreased below safe storage moisture 27 days.
