ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND: Cervical length measurement and fetal fibronectin (FFN) are widely used to estimate the risk of preterm birth. Another potential predictor birth is uterocervical angle, this additional may improve assessment. This study aimed predict onset labor in women who present with through cervical length, FFN. METHODS: A prospective cohort was carried out on 90 symptomatic at high attending Gynecology Obstetrics department Fayoum University Hospital. FFN cervicovaginal fluid assessed by ELISA technique. The angle were measured transvaginal ultrasound. Maternal history pregnancy data recorded. Delivery subsequently collected. RESULTS: average age 21.79 ± 3.3 years, body mass index (BMI) 24.6 5.8 kg/m 2 . mean gestational (GA) 32.83 2.3 weeks. Twelve our reported previous labor. showed better sensitivity specificity compared predicting Logistic regression analysis demonstrated that depended only quantitative CONCLUSION: combination could prediction accuracy.
