ABSTRACT
Impacts of screen net on water consumption and physiological status navel orange, Citrus Sinensis, was studied, in order to assess the economic benefits shaded orange trees, reach use efficiency gain highest yield quality quantity. A single span greenhouse covered by (25% initial shading) as compared open field. Three irrigation levels (60, 80 100%) were adjusted actual (ETc) according lysimeter tank, whereas crop coefficient (Kc) determined from relationship between ETc reference evapotranspiration (ETo). Water applied at 80% enhanced fruit growth quality, but it not affected peak flowering period, creating significant positive effects for other parameters well (production per unit water). The interaction, under trees save during two seasons 34.4% (1614.4 m3/acre) less than field (2458.0 m3/acre). Meanwhile, higher 29.2% 26.6% 15.1 15.3% both seasons, respectively. assessment costs returns different treatments calculated. It found that average Gross margin 720 m2 analysed using data, price structures production costs. Screen with level had gross US$ 228.5 249.38 (1 US$= 16 Egyptian pound) first second benefit cost analysis (BCA) analysed, BCA 3.4 season 3.6 season.
