ABSTRACT
Smart wearable electronic devices capable of information exchanging (such as human-machine interfaces) have developed into key carriers for the interconnection, intercommunication, and interaction between humans machines. Multimodal textiles that incorporate multifunctional sensors daily clothing are an emerging technology to realize smart electronics. This has greatly advanced interface by bridging gap wearing comfort traditional devices, which will facilitate rapid development wide application natural interfaces. In this article, we provide a comprehensive summary latest research progress on multimodal intelligent Firstly, introduce most representative textile manufacturing strategies in terms functional fiber preparation forming. Then, explore sensing capability emphasize their applications Finally, present new insights future directions challenges faced practical textiles.
