ABSTRACT
Introduction. SUPERknee procedure (SK) is a treatment for complex knee instability in children with congenital deformations. Due to wide surgical approach and long time of surgery (ST) the skin around risk ischemic necrosis (SN) or healing complications (HC). Aim. The purpose study compare incidence SN SK using typical modified approach.Material Methods. Sixteen patients underwent since 2015 till 2016, mean age 8.1 (4.3–12.7) y.o. In 8 cases combined SUPERhip (SK+SH) was performed. 6 (3 3 SK+SH) performed from one incision (OIA). 10 (5 5 performed, involving additional (DIA). occurrence SN, ST factors HC were evaluated. Results. appeared 2 treated OIA (33%). There no DIA (0%). With this number difference below level significance, p = 0.1250, OR 11.7. patient SK+SH area 17.5 cm2. other 35 Mean 3.4h (2.5–4.0) 4.6h (4.0–5.5). 4.1h (2.5–5.5) 3.7h (3.0–4.5), 0.4746. No factor relevant found.
