ABSTRACT
Abstract Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) have often been used for various purposes, not only photography but also science in scientific fields, including forestry. UAV has the ability to move freely air and record objects on ground with high spatial resolution wide area coverage. This study aimed estimate diameter at breast height (DBH) based image generated from UAV. was obtain photographs taken an altitude of 150 m above land surface four sample areas 27 ha site. Aerial photos were processed using agisoft photoscan software produce a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) orthophoto. Tree crowns delineated orthophoto analyzed crown diameter. DBH measurements field carried out 206 trees build estimator model. The correlation test results showed that so this variable as independent variable. best model polynomial equation y = 0.0118744 x² + 1.08835 x 22.8125, where is canopy photo interpretation results. Abstrak vehicle sudah sering digunakan untuk berbagai tujuan, bukan hanya fotografi, namun telah dimanfaatkan sains di bidang keilmuan, termasuk kehutanan. memiliki kemampuan bergerak dengan bebas udara dan merekam objek darat resolusi spasial tinggi, cakupan areal yang luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan pendugaan setinggi dada berdasarkan citra dihasilkan dari memperoleh foto diambil pada ketinggian atas permukaan empat sampel seluas lokasi penelitian. Foto diproses menggunakan perangkat lunak menghasilkan ortofoto. Tajuk pohon dideliniasi ortofoto dianalisis luas tajuk. Pengukuran lapangan dilakukan terhadap selanjutnya membangun penduga DBH. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa tajuk mempunyai tinggi sehingga sebagai bebas. terbaik adalah polinomial persamaan 0,0118744 1,08835 22,8125, hasil interpretasi udara. Pendugaan beberapa manfaat seperti mampu mengurangi waktu, biaya tenaga kerja.
