ABSTRACT
Great Britain’s stocks of coal, natural gas, and petroleum have seen major changes to the levels stored energy over years 2005 2019, a reduction 200 TWh (35%) from 570 370 TWh. The transformation its electrical system this timeframe saw in coal generation, leading corresponding stockpiled 85 (68%), partially offset by an increase biomass for generation. gas storage 24 (44%) was primarily due closure only long-term seasonal facility January 2018. This construction medium-term facilities use LNG preceding closure. For crude oil products 35 (21%), linked overall demand.
