ABSTRACT
The feasibility of hydroelectric plants depends on a variety factors: water resource regime, geo-graphical, geological and environmental context, available technology, construction cost eco-nomic value produced energy. Choices about the building or renewal should be based forecast future trend these factors at least during project life system. Focusing economic energy this paper examines its influ-ence plants. Analysis, referred to Italian case, were three different phases: i) sustainability small-scale under minimum price guaranteed operator; ii) estimate incentives reach thresholds "acceptability" "bankability" investment; iii) analysis results ob-tained in previous phases using model evolution electricity period 2014-2100.
