ABSTRACT
RNAi technology is a versatile, effective, safe, and eco-friendly alternative for crop protection. There plenty of evidence its use through Host-induced gene silencing (HIGS) spray-induced (SIGS) techniques to control viruses, bacteria, fungi, insects, nematodes. As SIGS, most significant challenge achieving stability avoiding premature degradation in the environment or during absorption target organism. One encapsulation liposomes, virus-like particles, polyplex nanoparticles, bio-clay, which can be obtained recombinant production vectors, transgenesis, micro/nanoencapsulation. The materials must biodegradable, stable multiple chemical environments favoring controlled release RNAi. Most current research encapsulated focuses primarily on oral delivery insects by essential genes. regulation risk assessment from different approaches; however, this has positive characteristics agriculture economic, environmental, human health implications. emergence alternatives combining with induction resistance crops elicitation metabolic expected, as well biotechnological optimization large-scale production.
