ABSTRACT
As the prevalence of antimicrobial resistance genes is increasing in microbes, we are facing return preantibiotic era. Consecutively, number studies concerning antibiotic and its spread environment rapidly growing. Next generation sequencing technologies widespread used many areas biological research no exception. For rapid annotation whole genome metagenomic results considering resistance, several tools data resources were developed. These databases, however can differ fundamentally type determinants they comprise. Furthermore, structure metadata stored these also contribute to their differences. Several previous reviews published on databases gene annotation, however, our knowledge, review focused solely depth differences databases. In this review, compare most well-known widely based content. We believe that knowledge fundamental for selecting appropriate database a question development new annotation.
