This research uses the computing of conceptual distance to measure information content in Wikipedia categories. The proposed metric, generality, relates by determining ratio a concept provides others compared it receives. DIS-C algorithm calculates generality values for each concept, considering relationship's and weight. findings this study were current methods field found be comparable results obtained using WordNet corpus. method offers new approach measuring applied any relationship or topology conceptualization.
