ABSTRACT
(1) Background: This study aimed to outline the antitumoral, antioxidant, and cytotoxic proprie-ties of various types Perilla frutescens extracts obtained from leaves species; (2) Methods: We determined total polyphenols, flavonoids anthocyanins contents, as well in vitro actions 3 ethanolic (E1, E2, E3) ethanol: acetone (A1, A2, A3) according standardized procedures; (3) Results: found that had higher phenol concentrations (p= 0.002). Flavonoids were not statistically different between two extracts. The iron chelating capacity, hydroxyl radical scavenging superoxide anion lipoxygenase inhibition capacity showed a significant increase with extracts, particularly Perillyl alcohol greater on MG-63 cell line E1 extract similar effects A431 line; (4) Conclusions: Both exhibited important antioxi-dant antitumoral vitro, which proportionally increased concentration. threshold this for could help determine best dosage maximum antioxidant potential.
