ABSTRACT
The increasing complexity of the space flight program and increase in duration missions require improvement psychological monitoring tools for astronauts orbit. article summarizes experience using quantitative content analysis communication between crews Mission control center (MCC). This method allows to assess dynamics astronaut’s psycho-emotional state, identify communicative style, detect phenomena board-MCC communication. is based on a combination coping strategies approach by Lazarus Folkman as well B.F. Lomov’s concept about three functions We found influence workload structure volume communication, defined main stable styles crewmembers, confirmed presence emotional transfer phenomenon. detected that successfully solve problems arise orbit capabilities their style. An ineffective MCC style leads ill-being manifesting “third quarter” phenomenon was not materials from six-month flights.
