ABSTRACT
The study of angular correlations heavy-flavor particles in hadronic collisions can provide crucial insight into the heavy-quark production, showering and hadronization processes. comparison with model predictions allows us to discriminate among different approaches for production hadronization, as well treatments underlying event employed by models reproduce correlation observables. In ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions, where a deconfined state matter, quark-gluon plasma (QGP), is created, shed light on modification fragmentation due interaction charm beauty quarks QGP constituents, characterize their energy loss processes while traversing medium. Insight possible emergence collective-like mechanisms smaller systems, resembling those observed also be obtained performing studies high-multiplicity proton-proton proton-nucleus collisions. this review, most recent relevant measurements performed all collision systems at LHC RHIC will presented, new understandings that they discussed.
