ABSTRACT
This retrospective study aimed to evaluate the performance of hormone treatment protocols, determine factors associated with pregnancy success after treatment, and compare cost-efficiencies two types among cyclic noncyclic anestrous dairy cows. The clinical records 279 cows who received for artificial insemination (AI) from 64 herds in western region Thailand were obtained Kasetsart University Veterinary Teaching Hospital January August 2017. fixed-time AI (TAI) estrus detection before (EAI), showed that risk TAI protocol was higher than EAI protocol, but per did not differ significantly between protocols Multivariate logistic regression analysis receiving more likely be pregnant compared those treated protocol. Cows a 3.00 body condition score (BCS) <3.75 loose-housing become pregnant. Treatment during winter summer rainy seasons. cost-efficiency most cost-efficient option cows, whereas
