ABSTRACT
Ménière's disease (MD) has an unclear cause. The microvascular dysregulation of the inner ear been increasingly pointed as a potential contributor. This study investigates prevalence cardiovascular risk factors (CVRFs) in MD patients compared to those with posterior circulation cerebral infarction (POCI). CVRFs like hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, obesity, coronary heart disease, and smoking were assessed both POCI patients. Brain MRI identified etiology "small vessel occlusion" (SVO) or "other etiology" (OE). included 64 84 Compared MD, OE showed higher across various age groups, including smoking. Notably, odds having significantly for individuals hypertension On other hand, SVO similar MD. reveals no significant difference CVRF between smaller POCI. However, clear distinction emerges when comparing involvement larger blood vessels. Further research is needed confirm these findings explore shared
