ABSTRACT
Hybrid nanocomposites have emerged as a groundbreaking class of materials in the aerospace industry, offering exceptional mechanical, thermal, and functional properties. These materials, composed combination metallic matrices reinforced with mixture nanoscale particles, such carbon nanotubes (CNTs), graphene, ceramic nanoparticles (SiC, Al2O3), provide unique balance high strength, low weight, enhanced durability. Recent advances developing these focused on optimizing dispersion integration within matrix to achieve superior material performance. Innovative fabrication techniques ensured uniform distribution strong bonding between reinforcements, including advanced powder metallurgy, stir casting, in-situ chemical vapor deposition (CVD), additive manufacturing. methods enabled production hybrid improved mechanical properties, increased tensile fracture toughness, wear resistance, thermal stability electrical conductivity. Despite advancements, challenges remain preventing nanoparticle agglomeration ensuring consistent quality repeatability large-scale production. Addressing issues is critical for fully leveraging potential applications, where are subjected extreme conditions rigorous performance standards. Ongoing research novel processing understanding underlying mechanisms that govern behavior under various operational conditions. This review highlights recent progress design, fabrication, application applications. It underscores their revolutionize industry by providing meet demanding requirements lightweight, high-strength, multifunctional components.
