ABSTRACT
In this study, the “surface tension defined from stress” was used to predict change in cutting edge radius tool’s initial-stage wear regime. An analysis of between solids showed that flow material and adhesion phenomenon must occur simultaneously at interface. From experimental simulation results, it confirmed proposed model can be stress distribution acting on tool evaluate workpiece It also verified cutting-edge under a state equilibrium changes based condition. These results indicate simply using with smaller will lead rapid increase retreat beginning cutting. For unmanned operation processes, is desirable use improve efficiency reduce cost.
