ABSTRACT
This study surveyed adult web monitor enrollees about the lives of and stress experienced by Japanese children adolescents during prolonged coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The survey was conducted on February 10, 2022 (after sixth wave) August 19, (during seventh wave COVID-19 pandemic in Japan), with 231 217 participants, respectively. questionnaire designed so that adults could assess frequency exercise, difficulties around them. Regarding exercise opportunities, 22% parents middle high school reported children’s opportunities “stayed same” or “increased considerably” first survey. Whereas, second survey, all “decreased.” stress, 17% 18 years older responded “same as before” “a little less than but these “quite a bit” to same question findings suggest life changes caused may have significant impact increase stress. long-term effects should be further investigated.
