ABSTRACT
In the article thermo-aerodynamic characteristics of original design a heat exchange surface - flat-oval tube with incomplete corrugated fins, which can be used for modernization equipment, are studied. The purpose work is preliminary assessment efficiency tubes fins and obtaining an empirical dependence calculation using CFD modeling. object study forced convection during transverse washing composite fins. subject transfer aerodynamics work, values dimensionless coefficient pressure loss obtained, as well calculated determining aerodynamic resistance mentioned types presented. Data verification was carried out smooth spiral scientific novelty establishment fact that have higher compared to (by 45 – 50 % in average) spiral-ribbed 25 30 simultaneous increasing by at same flow rate carrier. Practical application obtained results allows designers increase area exchange, makes these prospective power engineering industry, particular, dry cooling towers nuclear plants thermal plants, boiler exchangers, gas turbine installations, etc.
