ABSTRACT
Intrauterine adhesion (IUA) is caused by of the uterine cavity due to damage endometrium. Hysteroscopic adhesiolysis (HA) main treatment. The objective study was investigate obstetrical outcome in third trimester women who previously underwent HA.We performed a retrospective cohort university-affiliated hospital. A total 146 with history HA had given birth their from May 2012 2019 were enrolled (study group), while 292 negative matched for maternal age, gravidity, parity, and delivery year. parameters obstetrics infants investigated evaluate change HA.There no significant difference between control groups gestational weeks, nor fetal gender distribution, weight, Apgar score, distress, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) admissions after (P>0.05). In addition, when compared group, at higher risk placental risks (P<0.05), such as placenta previa (11.6% versus 3.1%), abnormally invasive (AIP) (33.56% 2.7%), retained (42.5% 8.6%). This resulted significantly postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) rate group that (8.9% 1.0%, P<0.05). Such cases more likely be found patients severe IUA those assessed mild moderate.The might an important factor inducing problems PPH trimester. More attention should paid labor pregnant HA.
