ABSTRACT
Abstract: Foreign body aspiration during medical procedures has been reported in the literature. These iatrogenic incidents could be related to instruments malfunction or accidental occurrences treatment. In this paper, we present a report of woman coming for laparoscopic abdominal hysterectomy who developed intraoperative bronchospasm. an attempt administer aerosolized albuterol, resident anesthesia provider fractured Luer-lock tip 60-cc syringe, which he was using hold albuterol nebulizer. The plastic dislodged into endotracheal tube (ETT). On further inspection with fiberoptic instrument located loosely adherent distal part ETT and held place by moisture, had precipitated tube. An consult interventional pulmonary medicine obtained after unsuccessfully attempting retrieve foreign grasper. syringe then removed Fogarty balloon catheter that threaded through hole tip.
