ABSTRACT
Background: Catheter balloon injuries (CBI) of the urethra are avoidable iatrogenic which occur in just over 1% hospitalised male inpatients. The transurethral catheterisation safety valve (TUCSV©) is a novel device designed to prevent CBIs. aim this multi-institutional clinical study was prospectively assess TUCSV’s ability urethral CBI 3-month period.
