ABSTRACT
Objectives. To describe results of points dispensing (POD) medical countermeasure drill performance among local jurisdictions. Methods. compare POD setup times for each year, we calculated descriptive statistics annual jurisdictional data submitted by over 400 jurisdictions across 50 states and 8 US territories to a Centers Disease Control Prevention (CDC) program monitoring database from July 2012 June 2016. Results. In collected 2015, fewer than 5% PODs required more 240 minutes set up, although the proportion increased 2015 2016 almost 12%. From 2016, 60% were up in less 90 minutes, with 60 as median time during period. Conclusions. Our yield evidence national progress response mass emergency. Technical assistance may be aid certain improvement. Public Health Implications. The this study inform future target on activities highlight need technical assistance.
