ABSTRACT
Objectives. To examine the effect of patient navigation models on changes in housing status and its subsequent effects HIV outcomes for 700 people living with (PLWH) who were unstably housed co-occurring substance use psychiatric disorders across 9 demonstration sites United States between years 2013 2017.Methods. Self-reported was collected at baseline, 6 12 months during intervention. included linkage retention care, antiretroviral therapy prescription, viral suppression via chart review.Results. In after intervention, 59.6% transitioned to more stable housing. Compared those became or remained housed, participants greater stability achieved significantly higher rates (adjusted odds ratio [AOR] = 2.12; 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.11, 4.05), likely be prescribed (AOR 2.06; CI 1.62, 2.63), had 1.62; 1.03, 2.55).Conclusions. The navigators create a network services PLWH are can improve lead improvements HIV-related outcomes.
