Methods: The cases of 23 patients who had from July 1996 to December 2014 were retrospectively reviewed. Demographic data, blood loss and transfusion during surgery, outcomes, complications after surgery analyzed. Results: Eleven underwent resection; 4 excision, allograft transplantation, absorbable screw fixation; 3 resection metallic internal 2 resection, autogenous fibular grafting, curettage bone-grafting; 1 patient received above-the-knee amputation. average age (and standard deviation) the at time was 31.9 ± 12.8 years (range, 6 54 years) an follow-up 5.3 4.7 1.1 19.6 years). median duration 157 minutes 90 315 minutes). amount 800 mL 100 4,000 mL). Three (13%) postoperative infection, (8.7%) recurrence HPT, another fracture nonunion. Conclusions: Surgical modified protocol coagulation factor replacement safe effective. It should be recommended progressive enlargement mass, recurrent massive bleeding, spontaneous perforation, bone erosion, or compression surrounding tissues failure conservative treatment.
