ABSTRACT
Abstract: Language-concordant care improves patient satisfaction. Given the increase in Spanish-speaking persons requiring orthopaedic United States, it is essential to workforce surgery. We have proposed strategies improve proportion of surgeons U.S. through early exposure surgery, by creating collaborative advancement and mentorship opportunities, endorsing Spanish-language immersion increasing diversity awareness. Furthermore, we suggested a strategy better equip non-Spanish-speaking while caring for patients. Together, offer variety approaches that can direct, tangible impact on optimizing enhancing patient-physician communication Spanish language.
