ABSTRACT
This study is aimed to document the indigenous knowledge of medicinal plants used by traditional healers Punjab, Pakistan. The uses were documented semi structured interview registered herbalists & relevant literatures also reviewed. data was collected visiting area from Feb 2013 August 2013. All having therapeutic activity crosschecked with existing literature on ethno botany. In our about 150 plant species, which belongs 55 families along their local names, part and use value each species. Data showed that highest number community Asteraceae Family. Syzygium cumini (L.) Skeels has 1 lowest (0.2) are Eclipta alba Hassk, Ruellia tuberose L., Aerv javanica (Burm.f) juss. It concluded possesses a variety widely hakims, for primary health care Province
