ABSTRACT
It is known that the criminal justice process most often perceived as a negative experience by victims, witnesses, well defendants. Whilst measures have been put into place across globe to improve their experiences, there still much more which needs be done, especially can involve secondary victimisation of those participating in it and prolonged trauma. The current opinion piece centres on use trained dogs help experiences system users during active cases. this practice mostly used North America, hints at bringing varying types are visible elsewhere, too. With mind, key establish, from offset, positives such service, but also very aware its limitations challenges, order for service delivering what aims without causing disruption or users.
