ABSTRACT
The mesoporous titanium vanadium nitride (TiVN) powders were prepared by sol–gel method combined with ammonia reduction nitridation process. obtained non-stoichiometry TiVN solid solution phase different valence of Ti and V ions as determined X-ray diffraction photoelectron spectroscopy. energy dispersive spectroscopy results showed that the N, elements homogeneously distributed in powders. Scanning electron micrographs revealed diameter was range 1–2 µm. It found possessed BET surface area 24.3 m2/g average pore size 19.8 nm. A maximum specific capacitance 231 F/g tested Galvanostatic charge–discharge retained 99.4% initial after 2000 cycles. While TiN VN only 93 221 F/g. Cyclic voltammetry Electrochemical impedance measurements also performed. intrinsic resistance electrodes 0.9 Ω, which smaller than (1.1 Ω) Ω). indicated uniform distribution each element could effectively improve electrochemical properties compared
